We live in one of the wealthiest nations in the world, but too many people are struggling to get by. Harry understands that we need to have an economy that works for everyone. All Americans deserve to be financially secure and share in the success of our nation. That’s why in Congress, Harry will:
- Fight for tax cuts for the middle class, restore the Child Tax Credit, and raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour so that working families don’t have to decide between dinner and their bills.
- Close corporate tax loopholes to make sure that corporations do their part.
- Support and protect unions to ensure good paying and fair jobs are available to Americans by passing the PRO Act.
- Raise the income cap for Social Security taxes so that the wealthy pay their fair share to protect Social Security from bankruptcy.
- Fight to close the gender wage gap. Women shouldn’t be making 82 cents on the dollar compared to men.
